We all have Influence.
We all want Autonomy.
This is a dangerous combo.
We believe that we can go through life gaining more power and more influence and one day if we just eclipse the proverbial pinnacle than we will not have to answer to the petty things we stress about right now.
Don't get caught up in this belief that if you get good enough then you don't have to be accountable to the other areas of your life. Develop as a whole person.
What do I mean when I say this?
Tiger Woods, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, even certain pastors and priests. They were at the top of their vocation. They had full autonomy with no accountability.
We all have influence and we all need accountability.
You are not the Exception.
